“Paraphernalia” – John Williams

“Paraphernalia” is a wonderful short film joining a boy and his journey with a blue robot. He first hates it, learns to love it, and then beats the blue robot down to critical condition. The boy seems that he exhausted himself and passes out; in his eyes, the robot carries him home. In actuality, a man picks him and carries him home. We find out what the boys name is and we learn that it is a blue machine he is attached that helps him survive day to day.

It’s touching and heart warming. The cinematography is fantastic and the motion graphic robot gave a comedic quirk to the film. The little boy was a wonderful little actor. The feeling you experience after watching this is what I wish to accomplish on my own films.
